The main difference of the PawLounge is what isn't easily visible in a photo: its internal construction.
The base, back, and sides create a structured support system with foam material, while the zippered covers make maintenance significantly more practical for daily use.
The difference is under the fabric
Many budget pet beds rely mainly on loose, soft filling. At first, they look fluffy, but when the animal lies down, they compress heavily, and the body quickly nears the floor.
The PawLounge Small has a different philosophy. The resting surface is based on dense foam that resists excessive compression, creating a firmer and more supportive base.

Received vacuum-packed – do not judge it as soon as you open the parcel
To better protect it during transport and significantly limit the volume of the parcel, the PawLounge Small is vacuum-packed.
Because the dense foam can remain compressed for a long period during transport, it is absolutely normal that immediately after opening, the product may appear flatter, wrinkled, or less full than its final form. This does not mean the product is defective.
The most important thing: help the foam get air again
Open the PawLounge fully and repeatedly press with your hands on the base, back, and sides. Don't be afraid to apply firm pressure to the foam: the compression and recovery help the foam start taking in air again and gradually regain its volume and elasticity.
Repeat the process in different spots and leave the product in an open, well-ventilated area. Normal use by the pet — as they climb on, lie down, and change position — also helps the foam move and recover.
Open the product fully
Remove all packaging and fully unfold the PawLounge so that all foam sections are free.
Press and work the foam
Firmly and repeatedly press the base, back, and sides so that the compressed foam starts taking in air again.
Shape the back and sides
Use your hands to gradually restore the shape of the armrests and back as the foam material gains more volume.
Give it time
The recovery is gradual. In most cases, about 24–48 hours are required for it to approach its normal form.

Repeatedly press the base, back, and sides with your hands, shape the sections, and leave the product open in a well-ventilated area.
Is it enough just to leave it for 48 hours?
Time helps, but after prolonged compression, it is recommended to actively work the foam. Firmly and repeatedly press the foam sections so they start taking in air again. Daily use of the bed also helps it recover.
Can the cover be removed?
Yes. There are zippers on the individual upholstery sections so that there is access to the interior and cleaning is significantly facilitated.
Does the underside slide on tile?
The bottom surface has a non-slip construction that helps the bed stay in place on smooth surfaces. Actual grip also depends on the condition of the floor.
How does it convert into a large bed?
The front base simply unfolds forward, without any mechanism or tools, increasing the total length from about 50cm to about 100cm.
Can I leave it open permanently?
