How big is it really? 90 × 180cm means a total extended surface area of approximately 1.62m². Received in vacuum packaging — its true volume appears after opening
Due to the very large dimensions and volume of the foam construction, the PawLounge Large is transported compressed in vacuum packaging.
Immediately after opening, it may therefore appear significantly thinner, wrinkled, or smaller in volume than its final form. This is expected after prolonged compression and is not in itself an indication of a defect.
Actively help the large foam recover
Open and fully unfold the PawLounge. Press repeatedly with your hands the large base, back, and sides, so that the foam material begins to take in air again.
Because in the Large version the foam sections are much larger and the base consists of three foldable sections, work the entire surface and not just one spot. Gradually shape the back and sides and leave the product fully open in a well-ventilated area.
Open all three sections
Remove the packaging and fully unfold the triple base so that all foam sections are free.
Press the entire structure
Firmly work the base, back, and sides so that the compressed foam begins to regain its volume.
Shape back and sides
Gradually restore the shape of the large foam sections with your hands.
Allow it to recover
The foam recovery is gradual and may take approximately 24–48 hours to approach its normal form.
