Soft to the touch. Stable underfoot.
The LeLo Pet CloudStep S2 is a premium 2-step set for dogs and cats with a core made of high-density 40D foam. It is designed to offer controlled compression underfoot, without the excessively soft feel of materials that sink too deeply. With dimensions of 40 × 40 × 31cm, it is the compact choice in the CloudStep series for accessing sofas, lower beds, and other favorite spots for your pet.
What does 40D actually mean? For pet steps, it is not enough for the inner material to be merely soft. It must compress just enough when stepped on, while simultaneously providing support and maintaining the steps' geometry.
That is why 40D high-density foam was chosen for the CloudStep series: for a balance between comfort, support, and shape retention.
Why internal material density matters
A very soft step can compress significantly when a pet transfers its weight onto it. This can make stepping feel less stable and cause the geometry of the step to deform excessively.
The CloudStep S2 uses 40D density material to ensure controlled compression while providing substantial support.
40D High Density
Denser internal structure for more supportive behavior and better shape retention.
Controlled compression
The material yields naturally underfoot without behaving like an overly soft pillow.
Shape recovery
After pressure, the foam rebounds, helping the two levels better maintain their basic geometry.
Soft contact surface
There is no hard wood or plastic core in the areas where your pet steps and moves.
We didn't just want something soft. We wanted it to offer real support.
For the LeLo Pet CloudStep series, 40D high-density foam was chosen so the surface offers comfort underfoot but does not collapse easily under the pet's weight.
2 low levels instead of one big jump
The CloudStep S2 has a total height of approximately 31cm, dividing this distance into two consecutive steps.
This allows it to be used as a practical daily access point for lower sofas, beds, and other suitable surfaces in the home.
Small dogs
For pets that have difficulty reaching a sofa or bed comfortably due to their size.
Puppies
An alternative access path instead of constant jumping up and down.
Cats
Can also be used by cats that prefer intermediate access levels.
Older pets
For pets that still move autonomously but prefer smaller, successive transitions.
Sofa
The 31cm height fits many lower sofas and seats.
Lower bed
Can be placed next to a bed when the furniture's actual height is appropriate.
Curved transition without hard edges
The CloudStep series does not follow the logic of a hard, squared-off staircase. The levels have a smoother geometry and rely on foam construction, ensuring that the transition from one step to the next is made without hard wooden or plastic edges.
Two levels
Compact solution for smaller height differences in the home.
No hard frame
The main structure is foam-based rather than a rigid wood or plastic construction.
40cm width
Sufficient surface area so the pet can comfortably place its paws.
40 × 40cm footprint
Designed for daily use without taking up excessive space next to furniture.
Anti-slip base for more stable placement
The underside of the CloudStep S2 features a special anti-slip surface with embossed grip points to limit unwanted movement during regular use. The small grip points on the bottom surface help the product better resist sliding, especially on smoother surfaces like tile or laminate.
Anti-slip bottom surface
The special base is designed to offer more traction on the floor during daily use.
Embossed grip points
The small embossed points on the bottom side help limit unwanted sliding of the CloudStep.
Removable and washable cover
The CloudStep is on the floor every day and is in constant contact with paws and fur. For this reason, the outer cover features a large zipper at the base, from one end to the other, so it can be practically opened and fully removed from the internal core. The cover is machine washable, while the internal 40D foam remains separate.
Large base zipper
The zipper runs along the bottom side and facilitates easy removal of the cover.
Washable cover
The outer cover is removed from the core and can be washed for easier daily care.
Neutral grey
A subtle shade that blends easily with sofas, beds, and different interior decors.
Designed for daily use
Fully removable washable cover and easy maintenance without a complicated process.
The lint roller is included in the package.
Every CloudStep S2 includes a lint roller, so you can quickly remove fur from the fabric between washes.
On the side, there is a special storage compartment, so the lint roller stays with the product.
Small detail. Big difference in daily life.
Lint roller in the package
Already included, so there's no need to buy it separately.
Side storage compartment
The roller stays next to the CloudStep so it's available whenever you need it.
How to help your pet get accustomed
Some pets use the steps immediately, while others need a little time to understand the new path.
Stable placement
Place the CloudStep near the furniture and check that the anti-slip base with grip points has good contact with the floor.
Let them explore
Let your pet smell and step on it by themselves without pressure.
Positive reinforcement
A treat or calm encouragement can help during the first familiarization.
Practice descending too
Descending may require more practice than ascending for some pets.

FAQ
What are the dimensions of the CloudStep S2?
The CloudStep S2 has total dimensions of approximately 40 × 40 × 31cm and features two levels.
What does 40D density mean?
40D refers to the density of the internal foam, approximately 40kg per cubic meter. High density helps provide a more structured behavior and helps the product maintain its shape.
Does 40D mean it's very hard?
No. Density and hardness are not the same characteristic. The CloudStep has been selected to combine support with a soft contact feel.
Does it sink when the dog steps on it?
The foam compresses naturally under load. The 40D selection helps ensure the yielding is controlled and that the product maintains its basic geometry better.
Is it only for elderly or injured dogs?
No. It can be used by small dogs, puppies, cats, or any pet that needs two intermediate steps for furniture access.
Can the cover be removed and washed?
Yes. At the base, there is a large zipper that extends from one end to the other, allowing the cover to be fully removed from the inner core and washed.
Can the 40D internal material be washed too?
No. For cleaning, remove and wash the outer cover. The internal 40D high-density foam core remains separate.
Does it have an anti-slip base?
Yes. The underside features a special anti-slip surface with embossed grip points, designed to limit CloudStep movement, especially on smooth surfaces like tile or laminate.
What are the embossed points on the bottom side?
These are grip points on the anti-slip base that help the CloudStep better resist unwanted sliding on the floor.
Is the lint roller included?
Yes. Every CloudStep package includes a lint roller, and there is a special side compartment for storing it.
Is it suitable for a sofa?
Yes, provided the total height of 31cm matches the height of the surface you want your pet to reach.
Does it work for a bed?
It can be used for a lower bed. Measure the height of the furniture first so you can choose the appropriate CloudStep model.
Which CloudStep should I choose?
The S2 is the compact two-level model with a height of 31cm. For higher surfaces, there are the CloudStep S3 and S4 with more levels and larger dimensions.
