The LeLo Pet CloudStep S2 is a premium set of 2 steps for dogs and cats with a 40D high-density foam core. It's designed to provide controlled compression underfoot, without the overly soft feel of a material that sinks too much. With dimensions of 40 × 40 × 31cm, it's the compact choice in the CloudStep series for accessing sofas, lower beds, and other favorite spots for your pet.
What does 40D mean in practice? For pet steps, it's not enough for the inner material to just be soft. It needs to yield just enough underfoot, but at the same time, provide support and maintain the geometry of the steps.
That's why the CloudStep series uses 40D high-density foam: for a balance between comfort, support, and shape recovery.
Why the density of the inner material matters
A very soft step can compress significantly when a pet puts its weight on it. This can make the step feel less stable and cause the geometry of the step to change more.
The CloudStep S2 uses 40D density material to ensure controlled compression and effective support.

The CloudStep S2 has a total height of approximately 31cm and divides this difference into two successive levels.
This allows it to be used as practical daily access to lower sofas, beds, and other suitable surfaces in the home.
