Folding wooden stool with a 10cm-thick seat for massage, spa and professional use.
The VSL Sports WoodRest is a portable, folding wooden massage stool with a padded seat measuring 35 × 35cm, 10cm of padding and an overall height of 52cm. It was designed as a practical auxiliary seat for massage therapists, physiotherapists, spas, beauty and wellness spaces, and professionals who need a compact seat beside their workspace.
What does the WoodRest offer? A sturdy, folding and easy-to-transport auxiliary seat with a wooden frame and particularly thick 10cm padding. Its 52cm height makes it practical for use beside massage and treatment tables, while it can be folded for easier storage when not in use.
It is not limited to massage: it can also be used in spas, physiotherapy, beauty, wellness, studios and other professional settings where a sturdy auxiliary seat without wheels is needed.
More than just an auxiliary stool
The WoodRest combines four features that really matter in everyday use: a thick seat, practical height, sturdy wooden frame and folding design.
Its design is especially suitable for professionals who work close to their clients and do not need the mobility of a wheeled stool, but prefer a fixed, stable working position.
10cm-thick seat
The generous soft padding provides a more comfortable feel than a thin, hard auxiliary seat during everyday use.
52cm overall height
A practical height for use beside massage tables and other professional treatment or beauty surfaces.
Folding design
Folds when not in use, making it easier to transport and store than a conventional fixed stool.
Wooden frame
The natural wood tone creates a warmer, more professional look in massage rooms, spas and wellness spaces.
10cm of seat padding makes a difference.
For an auxiliary stool used every day, it is not only important that the professional can sit down. It also matters what lies between the user and the wooden frame.
The WoodRest features soft padding approximately 10cm thick, providing a more cushioned feel and meaningful distance from the hard base.
35 × 35cm: compact without being too small
The square seat measures 35 × 35cm. This keeps it compact enough not to take up too much space around the massage table, while still providing a substantial seating surface.
35cm wide
A compact size that allows the stool to fit even in smaller workspaces.
35cm deep
A square surface with balanced dimensions on all sides.
10cm padding
The seat thickness is one of the WoodRest’s key distinguishing features.
Practical for treatment rooms
It takes up less space than a large chair or a wheeled seat with a wide base.
Designed for working beside the client
In massage, physiotherapy and beauty treatments, there are many tasks where the professional needs to be close to the client’s face, neck, hands or feet.
The WoodRest can be positioned beside the table or treatment surface, allowing the professional to work from a seated position when suitable for the task.
Massage therapists
As an auxiliary seat beside a portable or fixed massage table.
Physiotherapy
For treatments that require a close, stable working position beside the patient.
Spa & Wellness
A wooden look that blends naturally into treatment rooms and relaxation spaces.
Beauty treatments
For facial, body and other treatments where a seated position is useful.
Mobile professionals
The folding design makes it easier to transport between different locations.
General auxiliary use
Can also be used wherever a compact, sturdy, folding seat is needed.
A stool that does not need to stay set up permanently.
The folding design is especially useful for smaller professional spaces, mobile massage and setups that are frequently assembled and packed away.
Once you have finished using it, the WoodRest can be folded to take up less space during transport or storage.
A stable seat without wheels
The WoodRest is not a wheeled stool. Its design serves a different purpose: place it where you need it, and it stays in position.
This is especially useful for tasks where the professional does not need to move around continuously while seated, but prefers a more stable base.
No wheels
It does not move around like a wheeled salon stool during work.
Fixed height
No lever, gas lift or adjustment mechanism is needed. The overall height is 52cm.
Simple construction
No complex mechanisms or unnecessary moving parts.
Natural look
The wooden frame pairs particularly well with wooden massage tables and wellness spaces.
An ideal complement to a portable massage table
The WoodRest was designed to work especially well as a complementary product beside portable massage tables.
Its folding design follows the same principle as a portable massage table: use it when needed and store it more easily once the session is over.
However, its use is not limited to VSL Sports tables or to massage settings.
