The main difference of the PawLounge is what isn't easily seen in a photo: its internal construction.
The base, back, and sides create a structured support system with foam material, while the zippered covers make maintenance significantly more practical for daily use.
The difference is under the fabric
Many budget pet beds rely mainly on loose, soft filling. At first, they look fluffy, but when the animal lies down, they compress significantly and the body quickly nears the floor.
The PawLounge Small has a different philosophy. The resting surface is based on dense foam that resists excessive compression, creating a more stable and supportive base.

Delivered in vacuum packaging – don't judge it as soon as you open the parcel
To better protect it during transport and significantly limit the parcel volume, the PawLounge Small is vacuum packed.
Because dense foam can remain compressed for a long period during transport, it is perfectly normal for the product to appear flatter, wrinkled, or less full than its final form immediately after opening. This does not mean the product is defective.
Most importantly: help the foam breathe again
Fully open the PawLounge and repeatedly press the base, back, and sides with your hands. Don't be afraid to apply firm pressure to the foam material: compression and recovery help the foam start to take in air again and gradually regain its volume and elasticity.
Repeat the process in different spots and leave the product in an open, well-ventilated area. Regular use by the pet — as they get on, lie down, and change position — also helps the foam material move and recover.
Fully open the product
Remove all packaging and fully unfold the PawLounge so that all foam sections are free.
Press and work the foam
Press firmly and repeatedly on the base, back, and sides so the compressed foam starts to take in air again.
Shape the back and sides
With your hands, gradually restore the shape of the armrests and back as the foam material gains more volume.
Give it time
Recovery is gradual. In most cases, about 24–48 hours are required for it to approach its normal form.

I opened it and it looks very thin or wrinkled. Is it defective?
Not necessarily. The PawLounge is transported compressed in vacuum packaging, and the dense foam may need about 24–48 hours to gradually regain its volume and shape. Repeatedly press the base, back, and sides with your hands, shape the sections, and leave the product open in a well-ventilated area.
Is it enough just to leave it for 48 hours?
Time helps, but after prolonged compression, it is recommended to actively work the foam. Firmly and repeatedly press the foam sections so they start taking in air again. Daily use of the bed also helps in recovery.
Is the cover removable?
Yes. There are zippers on individual sections of the upholstery, allowing access to the interior and significantly facilitating cleaning.
Does the bottom side slip on tile?

How does it turn into a large bed?
